Bah, the stupid rumour going around about the strike by petrol stations have got everyone in Sabah up in a tizzy.
Anyway, the reason for this post is because I finally remembered to post up the photos that I took 2 YEARS AGO!!! They were up in photobucket, it's just that I forgot to put them in my blog. *Slaps forehead* I don't know why I forgot to put them up...
Anyway, you can find the rest here:

I attended the second audition of the movie project "Another Life" which was held at Imperial Hotel today. The first audition was held last week, unfortunately I wasn't able to make it then. Anyway, the audition was from 11.a.m. to 4.p.m. since there weren't many people coming for this second audition.
Basically this is the synopsis for the movie:
[copypasta from here]
Haikal buys a black rock from a second hand shop and suddenly everything around starts to change at first it was his handphone, then it was his job then his friends even his hous, his car and even he changes into someone else. He is trying to figure out what is happening to him and learns that the rock he bought is part of a pair and the other rock is actually causing him and his surroundings to change, as it was placed on top of a computer which his friend uses to play a SIMs type video game.
I auditioned for the role of Ming, the protagonist's colleague in this story. I was a bit nervous since I never did anything like this before, heh heh heh... but still, it was an interesting experience.
Wokeh, here are some pictahs for your amusement:
Today's theme is Beanie! Well, not really...
The judges, and assorted crew: :P
Hey, this is not an action movie lah!
The reception area:
Some of the people coming in for the audition:
Action during the audition:
Wait, I don't remember any sombre moments in the scenes...
The hopefuls were interviewed before and after their auditions:
There was some water provided (just ignore the background, heh heh):
Here we have the crew goofing off while waiting for people to come and audition:
And yes, it is a tiring day:

I just attended Abigail and Kevyn's dinner reception at Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort, in the Kinabalu room (in the old wing).
Oh what a lovely couple they make...
And look who was shooting the wedding:
This guy's photos are killer, I tell you. KILLER!

Oh boy, oh joy! I'm on leave today and I should be feeling relaxed, except for the bombshell news by the government of fuel price hike of roughly 40-60% last night. I'll leave that for other bloggers and media to chew through. Today, I'm just trying to relax by going on a photoshoot with a friend called 540. Yes, that's her name (sort of...)
We all had a fun time... there was 540 (of course), massy, doridori, hellstorm_undernet and fallenone at the beach in the morning.
After that we went to have lunch at an eatery in Kompleks Asia City, and continued the photoshoot in a hotel. Too bad fallenone couldn't join in the afternoon shoot.
Pics are pending authorisation before they are released to you guys to view. :D
I was throwing the trash after dinner tonight when I looked up and saw flashed of light in the sky. "Lightning!" I thought to myself, and these are not one-off shots in the stormy sky. It was a veritable lightning storm happening somewhere out to sea, and it was lighting up the western sky in brilliant flashes and cloud backlighting.
Here's two of the better ones I managed to take, but they have been brightened to show the lightning better:
I wonder how many gigawatts of electricity are in those clouds...

Argh, I thought I could get to watch The Forbidden Kingdom at GSC 1Borneo for free today, but it was not meant to be. Firstly, upon reaching there, my friend and I say a huge crowd outside GSC. (This can't be good...) So when we reached the ticketing counter they already put out a sign saying that all shows for today are full. No more tickets.
A little background: Golden Screen Cinemas is gonna officially open at 1Borneo on the 5th of June 2008, soo they're giving out free tickets to a selection of movies - usually those that came out a few months ago. All you need to do is to cut out a coupon or print that coupon from the GSC website and present it to redeem 2 tickets to watch the shows. The shows that they offered are: “10,000 BC”, “Nim’s Island”, “The Forbidden Kingdom”, “Jumper”, “Escape from Huang Si”, “Evolusi KL Drift (Malay)”, “Congkak (Malay)”, and “CJ7 (Chinese)”.
Anyway, back to the story at hand. The crowd that was outside GSC was made up of mostly construction workers and their family members. Security was everywhere, and the place smelled funny because construction crews were still working feverishly to complete everything inside the shops for 1Borneo's grand opening on the 8th of June 2008.
So my friend and I decided to go look for ice cream at McDonalds after walking aimlessly around the half-completed shopping mall. Oh well, we'll see how it looks like when fully finished... in a month or two.
